Manobsur Unnayan Sangstha (MAUS)

The Executive Director (ED) of Manobsur Unnayan Sangstha (MAUS) serves as the primary visionary and strategic leader of the organization. Operating within the context of a local non-governmental organization in Bangladesh, the Founder ensures that all programs—such as the Community Resilience and Inclusive Development Program (CRIDP)—align with the agency’s core mission of social development, humanitarian aid, and inclusive empowerment.

Strategic Leadership & Vision

The Founder provides the essential “Strategic Oversight” required by the NGO Affairs Bureau and national standards. This includes:

  • Program Design: Setting the key directions for initiatives like the CBDR-V (Disaster Response) and CCERP (Child Education) projects.

  • Policy Governance: Ensuring all activities strictly adhere to the organization’s Volunteer Policy, Child Protection Policy, and Code of Conduct.

  • Quality Assurance: Final review of monthly and quarterly reports to ensure project quality and sustainability.

Partnerships & Advocacy

As the lead external liaison, the Founder is responsible for building vital connections with:

  • Local and district administrations (Bhola District).

  • National and international donor agencies to secure funding and scaleable partnerships.

  • Community leaders to ensure local participation and transparency.

Commitment to Accountability

Under the Founder’s leadership, MAUS maintains a “Zero Tolerance” policy regarding child abuse, negligence, or discrimination. By fostering a culture of professional ethics and transparency, the Founder ensures that the organization remains audit-ready and compliant with international donor standards, ultimately aiming to improve the lives of the most vulnerable coastal and riverine communities in Bhola
